Loved engaging in activities like golfing, fishing, and cycling. oh wait, I didn't do any of that. But hey, the free WiFi was great!
I really missed not having to dislike anything about this place. wait, did I say that right?

Great value for money and a cozy room with thoughtful touches like milk, biscuits, and tea/coffee. The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from Whitby Abbey, beaches, and other attractions. The self-catering kitchen was well-equipped, and the provided parking space at the garden centre was a bonus. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The staff treated us well and we felt warmly welcomed.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

Had a great time golfing, fishing, and cycling! The free WiFi was a lifesaver for uploading my hilarious selfies. Super convenient location near the airport, beach, and lighthouse.
Oh, and let's not forget the constant noise from the airport. Such a soothing lullaby.

My recent stay at a conveniently located property in town, Caedmon's Rest, was exceptional. The cleanliness and comfort of the property were outstanding. As a taller individual, I often struggle with uncomfortable beds, but at Caedmon's Rest, this was not the case. The shower and bath were perfect, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. The electrical and shower temperature issues mentioned by other guests were promptly resolved, showcasing the dedication of the management. Despite the centuries-old nature of the building, the stairs were not a concern for me as a senior, thanks to the sturdy handrails. The cottage exuded warmth and had a welcoming atmosphere, with thoughtful touches like a welcome box of chocolates and wine. From start to finish, my stay was delightful, and I am already looking forward to returning in the future. I highly recommend Caedmon's Rest for its comfortable accommodations and excellent location.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old district and close to everything we needed. The cottage had a comfortable, lived-in feeling and was exceptionally clean and tidy. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, even for my tall husband. The shower and bath were perfect, and we appreciated the little touches like a pint of milk in the fridge and tea and coffee supplies. The cottage had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we felt right at home.
The only issue we encountered was with the steep stairs, which could be a bit challenging if you're not steady on your feet. However, it did add to the charming cottage feel of the place.

The apartment at Caedmon's Rest in Whitby was so cozy and charming. I absolutely loved the homely feel it had, with its comfortable bedroom and well-equipped kitchen. It felt like a home away from home!
Personally, I found the bathroom with a shower a bit small, but others might not mind.
